The breakfast-not too big and wasn't greasy.

The curtains in the bedroom were very thin-therefore woke up at about 5am. Shower room/toilet was miniscule. Decor was in good condition, but very 1980s.

Had a wonderful stay at £114 a night, everything was excellent. the breakfast spread was outstanding with very nice coffee and stunning views. - the hotel's location was central, on the west bay promenade overlooking the Firth of Clyde.

This place is conveniently located near stunning nature, with a seafood restaurant just a 10-minute walk away and modern twin rooms featuring amenities like a television and panoramic views.

Sandra very welcoming and nothing was a bother for her. The room was spotless and decoration was very fresh. It felt like a "home from home". It was an easy walk along the promenade to the shopping area. Dining room was pleasant and there was an extensive breakfast menu. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.

Being picky the only downside was the parking arrangements. There is limited parking in front of the hotel.

I chose this hotel as a convenient location to visit the Tall Ships 2011 in Greenock. It is a small hotel located very close to the ferry terminal in the centre of Dunoon and ideal for those travelling without a car. To reach it just continue along the coastal walkway for a few minutes turning left from the ferry. The owners are very friendly and knowledgable about the area, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and has great views across the water. Trips on the paddle steamer Waverley leave from the ferry terminal and you can buy tickets on board. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back next year
